Meet Trish Adams
Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Master ART® Practitioner & Certified Trainer | Clinical Hypnotherapist | Daytona Beach, Florida
I'm Trish Adams, the founder of Daytona Accelerated Therapy- a boutique intensive practice in Daytona Beach, Florida specializing in Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART®) and hypnotherapy for adults ready to experience real, lasting relief from trauma, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, including years working alongside patients in hospital and hospice settings — I've seen firsthand how unresolved trauma quietly shapes people's health, relationships, and sense of self. That experience is what drew me to ART®, and it's what continues to drive the work I do today.
Why I’m Passionate About Trauma Healing
I didn't start out as a trauma specialist. My background is in medical social work, sitting with people in some of the most difficult moments of their lives, in ICUs and at the end of life. That work taught me something that no textbook could: people are extraordinarily resilient, but unprocessed pain doesn't just go away on its own. It shows up in the body, in relationships, in the quiet voice that says something still isn't right.
When I discovered Accelerated Resolution Therapy®, I recognized immediately that it was different. Clients weren't just managing their symptoms, they were actually getting better. They weren't being asked to relive painful memories to get there. I became a Master ART® Practitioner and a Certified ART® Trainer through the Rosenzweig Center for Rapid Recovery, one of only a limited number of trainers in the country. Training other clinicians in this method is part of how I give back to the field I love.
My Approach to Therapy
My work is grounded in three principles: safety, evidence, and respect for your pace.
ART® and hypnotherapy aren't about talking through trauma until it loses its power. They work by helping your brain and nervous system reprocess difficult experiences in a way that reduces their emotional charge, without requiring you to describe every detail or relive what happened. Most people leave a session feeling noticeably different from when they arrived.
Intensives allow us to do this work with depth and focus, rather than in small increments over many months. For people who are ready for meaningful change — whether they've been in traditional therapy for years or are coming to therapy for the first time — intensives offer a different kind of experience.

Who I Work With
I support adults in Daytona Beach, throughout Volusia County, and from across Florida and beyond who are navigating:
-
Trauma- a single-event or complex/long-term
-
PTSD and intrusive memories
-
Anxiety, panic, and emotional overwhelm
-
Grief and loss, including sudden or traumatic loss
-
Burnout and compassion fatigue
-
Stress that feels constant or difficult to manage
-
Relationship patterns shaped by past experiences
Many of my clients have already tried weekly therapy and found it wasn't moving fast enough, or haven't been able to make time for it at all. Intensives are designed for people who are ready for focused, meaningful progress — and who want a clinician with the experience and training to guide them through it.
